We adore this couple. They are cute. FUN. Romantic. Mike and Eliza had an amazing gothic wedding at the Old Vanderburgh Courthouse. We had NO idea it was going to be so gorgeously amazing.
With amazing help from Joelle Elise Designs Mike and Eliza were able to celebrate their wedding with tons of style! I still remember walking into the reception to photograph the decor and was stopped in my tracks. I was absolutely stunned. Their wedding cake was beautiful. They had vines and branches, black crows, butterflies, moss and moth, green table cloths with black lace and old brass keys as wedding favors. The grooms cake was very similar to a tattoo he had on his arm – it was a tiny piano with black keys. It was like their style and personalities were everywhere.
Their day was absolutely perfect. From getting ready to their sweet gift exchange. The vows were beautiful and their families too. I think my favorite part was the reception! The guests had a blast wearing “dancing flip flops” and dancing to all the music. The couple even had small Polaroids going around. I think Kale and I even took a few selfies! Because you know we like to take 5 and have a little fun being silly.
At the end of the reception the couple decided to have a sparkler send off. It was pretty amazing!
Mike and Eliza. Thank you so very much for being so kind and friendly. I adored photographing your engagement session downtown and I absolutely adored being able to photograph your wedding alongside Kale. We had so much fun! You guys are so cute and we want to wish you many years of happiness to come!
