Paul + Kara | Orchard House Evansville Wedding

These two met at USI. He proposed on the Riverwalk. The rest…history!

We adored photographing such a beautiful wedding. Paul + Kara had an amazing wedding venue, homemade wedding favors for their guests and the most romantic of receptions. This wedding took place in a private backyard nestled by greenery. Kara would walk through old wooden doors adorned with flowers, down the isle where guests would sit in painted church pews, walking with excitement to her future.

Before the ceremony these two exchanged letters. We have no idea what was written but Kara’s face lit up just as much as Paul’s did. They shared a moment of silence to let it all sink in. Kara even did a first look with her dad. Words couldn’t describe what Kale and I witnessed. Her dad was so happy! Happy. Tearful. Joy was all over his face.

The ceremony was amazing and Paul is the sweetest. He made many faces as Kara made her way down the isle with her dad. He was excited. Nervous. So. Incredibly. In. Love.

The reception…wow. String lights. Romantic glow. Dancing. Dinner. Cake. Flowers everywhere. It was incredible! The photos speak for all the thought and hard work put into this wedding. They also tell such a romantic little story about the day Paul married Kara. We love this wedding!

Paul + Kara. You two. Amazing. Just watching your ceremony was incredible. Kale and I were completely taken. I absolutely adored hearing the vows you two wrote for each other. The looks you two exchanged. The smiles. Laughter. Completely taken!

Thank you for inviting us. Thank you for sharing this day with us. Thank you! for everything! We seriously enjoyed every single minute being in your presence. Thank you for dinner. Cake. A super scrumptious granola treat. And that candle … I burned it in my home for days. It absolutely filled my home with vanilla goodness.
