Shaun and Madison have known each other since they were in school. The pair dated throughout and even ended up being crowned prom king and queen! They are high school sweethearts and their love story + engagement is so romantic. Each year since Madison was little, her dad would take the family to Santa Clause to see the Christmas lights at Lake Rudolph and Christmas Lake Village. This tradition holds a very special place in Madison’s heart and she decided that she wanted to take Shaun. While there, Shaun decided to make this THEIR family tradition too. Sweet right?! High School Sweethearts + dating for six years Shaun decided the time had come to confess his love for making Madison his partner for life, his sweetheart forever and got down on one knee to propose. OF COURSE she said YES! Madison was head over heels and can’t wait until their November wedding.
We started their engagement session on the streets of downtown Evansville, then hit up Wesselman woods. Madison’s quilt belonged to her grandmother and was a sentimental touch she wanted to add. It was sweet and romantic all at the same time. These two are seriously cute and couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. I would snap a shot of them in some romantic”y” pose and she would just completely fall apart with laughter. It was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. We wrapped up their engagement session at Swonder Ice Arena because Shaun is a hockey player! This guy has been playing hockey basically his whole life and Madison knew she wanted to incorporate this into their engagement session. The guy who runs the ice rink even put their wedding date up on the score board! How cool is that?! 11-4-2017. I thought this was so cool. This guy even brought out the Zamboni for them!
These two are pretty amazing. Seriously so down to earth. I could have spent all day with them.
Guys, I’m so grateful to know you. The laughing. The so “un-serious” cuteness. I mean I just couldn’t get enough. I love that you guys aren’t too serious kinda people because you are my kind of people. I had so much fun! I can’t wait to see your wedding day come together and to see Madison walking down that isle. I’m seriously head over heel about your big day and can’t wait! Thank you for being so kind. Telling me your love story and sharing your year with me! I can’t wait till November!
