I first met Colin through Facebook. He had contacted me to find out my availability for his upcoming 2018 wedding. I asked what the date would be and he said, well… we don’t have one yet! I haven’t exactly proposed.

  Being my normal self, I asked Colin what his plans were for this surprise proposal and when he told me the story I just knew I had to be there. I was so overjoyed reading his proposal plans.

Colin decided the time had come to propose to Leah. He rented a barn out at Arrington Vineyards, decorated the whole place with rose petals, candles, had a rocking chair and a sign. He even purchased a fresh bouquet of roses to give to Leah. Colin sings and plays guitar and knew that he wanted to sing the proposal to Leah.

Leah agreed to go on a girls weekend with her sisters but had NO idea what would happen when she arrived at the Vineyard. She arrived and when she walked up the stairs to the barn, Colin began to sing.

I will never forget hearing his final words to the song he wrote for her

A truth so true, a promise must be made and..

Yes, I believe I wanna marry you

Yes, I believe I wanna marry you.

Leah said yes. Surrounded by her sisters and parents. She said YES!

This was the BEST. DAY. EVER. Say’s Leah.

Family is the most important thing to both Leah and Colin. Leah says, ” I couldn’t have hand picked a better family to marry into”

And with that, the entire family {both families} spent an amazing evening together at Arrington Vineyards before going to back to their hotels, ordering pizza and recapping. They all told Leah the story about how they had all been scheming behind her back and planning this for weeks! How Leah’s dad almost blew the proposal once and how they almost passed each other on the highway before the proposal.

Leah and Colin, this was absolutely a treat! I’m so excited that I got to be there with you two and your families on this very special day. Thank you SO much for welcoming me! I can’t wait for your engagement session and then to share your wedding day as your two hearts become one!
