Andy + Beth are amazing people. Down to earth. Easy-going and really warm all the way through. When I photographed their engagement session, I left with 6 dozen farm fresh eggs ya’ll! Most of you know I’m from Texas. And even though I love the glam + gold + classic upscale wedding…. this wedding hit home for me. The fields. The corn rows. The tractors. Hay bales. EVERYTHING I experienced felt just like home to me. My parents live on a huge 75 acre ranch in Texas. They have horses, a few donkeys, chickens and definitely love fixing us kids farm fresh eggs! I love the country.
Andy and Beth hired OBJ Designs out of Evansville to turn their vision into reality. They had cakes made from The Bauerhaus. Adorable mini pies from The Happy Pie Company and delicious cookies from The Granola Jar. It was lovely! When Beth was telling me about her reception decor, I couldn’t have imagined everything turning out so beautifully. Anyone can throw burlap on table and adorn it with horse shoes. THIS. This was different. It was absolutely beautiful. Balanced. Professional. This is the work of OBJ Design and the vision of a bride!
This wedding day started out a little rough. It rained and rained some more. It even sprinkled during some of the formals but Andy and his groomsmen didn’t care at all. We honestly weren’t sure if it would stop. Right before Beth needed to make the decision to move the ceremony to the reception venue, the rain cleared! These two had a wonderful ceremony and their dog…and a few horses joined the party. Their good boy dog followed Beth down the isle, stayed with them during the ceremony and then walked away with them as if he was saying “ME TOO”! It was the sweetest thing ever.
Their reception was sweet too. The cake table decorated by OBJ was amazing. The cookies, mini pies and all the small things that make up a brides dreams all came true for Beth that day.
The kids had one heck of a party! I loved that they totally dominated the dance floor with all their master moves! If anyone wants first dance advice {blog post soon to come} take it from Andy + Beth. They sang to each other during their first dance. It was the sweetest.
Andy. Beth. Thank you SO much for allowing Kale and I to be a part of your big day! We absolutely LOVED everything about your wedding day and connecting with you two along the way. I adore your dog. Seriously wanted to take him home with me haha. We loved seeing your farm and photographing your big day! We can’t wait to package up your USB and see you guys again!

Kyle and Kendyl are the sweetest. They are both bubbly, smitten with one another and I couldn’t be happier that they chose me to photograph their engagement session and wedding day! Set your budget The first thing you really need to do is set your wedding photography budget. This will allow you to know where you are before inquiring. One of the most common mistakes brides make {from my own experience and what I hear in the wedding world} is that brides inquire without really knowing […]
