Chris and Katelin are an amazing couple. They are both down to earth, kind and most of all in love. When Katelin first contacted me about her Indianapolis wedding, I was excited. I adore outdoor ceremonies and Katelin’s is going to be absolutely amazing. These two chose the White River Gardens for their wedding day and I can’t wait to see all of their wedding plans come to life!
I was also excited about traveling to Indianapolis for their engagement session. These two chose Butler as their main location. I remember during the session, Chris asked if we could walk up to the Bell Tower. I said sure! They then told me that it’s good luck to kiss under the tower. So I definitely had to photograph these two kissing under this tower!
Butler has a very special place in their hearts and it makes me so happy that I was able to document their engagement at a place that is so special. Everything about their engagement session makes my heart happy. I adore how Chris looks at Katelin and every single time he smiles, she gets absolutely smitten. I just LOVE that.
Their proposal story comes all the way from Disney world! These two planned a trip there with another couple last November. You KNOW they worked very hard at keeping this a secret too. Chris booked a private boat ride on the Lake in front of Magic Kingdom and right before the fire works show, they all wanted to take a photo. It was Chris and Katelin’s turn and whenever they posed for the camera, the captain of the boat played their song! Chris got down on one knee and Katelin started crying hysterically. She couldn’t even breathe. She finally calmed down enough to say YES! Their friends captured the entire proposal for them too. After the proposal, they popped a bottle of champagne, watched the fireworks show and spent 4 amazing days at Disney World. I mean you guys!! So. Incredibly. Romantic!!
