Shaun + Madison are high school sweethearts. They have known each other and loved each other for years. This day couldn’t have been sweeter for these two. Surrounded by family and closest friends, they tied the knot!

Their wedding day started out with a letter exchange. He smiled really big and she cried of course. I will never know the words that are written between these two but I can tell you it was sweet, emotional and they meant it. For life. I could see it in his face and in hers.

This girl is not only smart and tough, she’s also so beautiful.  I mean, did Shaun really have a chance?! Nope! These two were destined to be together and they waited until the time was perfect in their lives to say “I DO”!

Shaun and Madison both held it together during her walk down that isle. Their eyes were fixed on each other and you could just see the strength that these two have. But as her dad went to give her away, she wiped a small tear from her face. During the ceremony, these two tied a unity rope. They took their time too. This wasn’t a race. It wasn’t for fun. It wasn’t for show. It was for life. After saying their vows, exchanging rings these two were ready to have some fun!

Her bridesmaids were a blast and his groomsmen are strait up fun. They had the craziest nicest wedding party ever. It took them everything they had in them to be good for the camera. There are some awesome outtakes from this wedding and I loved every single minute.

For the reception, Madison and Shaun chose a lovely new venue in Boonville. It was a rustic barn that had beautiful wooden beams. Everywhere. I loved the decor that Madison chose to use for her reception. The oil lamps belonged to her late grandfather. There were elements surrounding the entire place that allowed him to be there. A place card was set for another family member as well. This place was special. It wasn’t JUST decor. It was carefully thought out decor. Meaningful + Time and Care went into this reception. I remember when Madison was describing everything to me during out first meet up. I was absolutely stoked to be the one to photograph such meaningful heirlooms.

Madison had cupcakes as well as a wedding cake. But she also included a hockey cake for her groom. Shaun is a hockey player and has been for a really long time. His socks were also adorned with a cute hockey image. I adore that so many little elements that made up their wedding day were surrounded by so many things these two love. It was perfect.

These two danced the night away and had such an amazing reception.

Shaun + Madison…you two are amazing. Your love is so special. I am so glad one of your best friends + bridesmaids introduced us. I enjoyed your engagement session SO much! I’ll never forget walking out on ice with my camera and following you two around a hockey rink! It was fun. Different. And amazing. Your wedding was even more amazing. The field. You two. Your love. Guys. You absolutely rocked your bride and groom portraits. They are definitely some of my favorite images. I loved your fall wedding so much. The lace gown. Gorgeous bouquet that was made by you. I am definitely so glad you two chose us to document your special day. I love that I got to meet you and got to know you two. Becca and I wish you two years and years and years of happiness. And we thank you so very much for allowing us to be part of your special day!
