This year has been absolutely amazing! Kale and I have shared many weddings together and I’m so sad that he isn’t my right wing man anymore. He has an amazing career and is a team leader at what he does so I’m happy for him. I’m happy that he is growing too. But I sure do miss him. For the few times he couldn’t join me in 2017, I got to work with Kalli and that was a blast. Especially our behind the scenes veil fluffing! Then Becca joined me to end the year out for SSP. We have had so many amazing moments. NOT all were captured and I’m making it my mission to document more BTS this year…but I’m so glad we have silly memories to look back on. I’m so grateful for Kalli and Becca for second shooting with me. What a fun time with these amazing rock stars!
I’m so excited for what 2018 brings but for now…here’s a little 2017 #bts Behind The Scenes with #ssp! Enjoy!
Happy New Year to these two! I make it a habit to get in the photo-booth with our couples before hugging and saying good bye for the night.
Kale working hard on my studio for me. What a man. I feel like his life mission is to serve us. He does it so well and even when he is tired from his own job, he still musters up the energy to help me with mine.
I sure am going to miss him in 2018! We always had such a good time photographing weddings together!
Oh you know…just hanging out with Tracy Burch! Behind the Scenes at the Bestow Workshop in Kentucky!
The Bestow workshop is when I met Becca! Such a lovely person inside and out!
Becca and I photographed a styled anniversary shoot together this last year. It was absolutely amazing. A little back story: I thought it was a grand idea to organize this entire thing myself…at the end of the day…I knew I needed a little help. This girl came to my rescue joining me the day of the shoot and helping organize, set up the table and photograph our models. Life. Saver! Can’t wait to show off the goodness from this shoot!
Our first official wedding together! I really enjoy working with Becca!
As always! I always get in the photo-booth with our couples for some fun before saying goodbye! LOVE these memories!
Kale was our go-to boutonniere fixer. He was so good at getting these things on and making sure they weren’t going to come off. Not sure what we will do without him!
I’m always touching and fixing. I always tell my brides don’t mind me..I’ll just be touching you all day. They gladly allow it. And I love it because its better to stop, take a breath and fix it than to try to edit it out later 🙂
Kale always catches me doing my thing.
I believe I must have been giving him the evil eye… maybe.
I like the bts pics where you are testing your camera settings and the other person doesn’t realize you are snapping a photo of them…we have lots of these… looking forward to more in 2018
Looks like I’ve officially assumed Kale’s position as boutonniere fixer 🙂
I remember Kalli fluffing this veil. I think we did this two or three times to get the perfect veil shot. It was totally worth every second put into this deal. I knew what I wanted and Kalli made it happen! It was one of my favorite images from Tyler and Ashley’s Wedding.
We are totally on a mission to get out of this parking lot and over to the green by that church across the street. I have no idea what we were all looking at though!
Anything for the shot. Including squats. No wonder my legs are always sore after a wedding day.
I always tell bridesmaids “bouquets at your belly buttons ladies!” Or “bouquets on your hips” My camera is a pretend bouquet you guys! Always 🙂
Kyle and Kendyl are the sweetest. They are both bubbly, smitten with one another and I couldn’t be happier that they chose me to photograph their engagement session and wedding day! These two chose to have their engagement session in Cincinnati. If you know me, you know I love to travel and obviously said YES […]
I had the most fabulous time with Kristen and Jessey for their engagement session. We decided to host their session at the Lexington Botanical Gardens and it couldn’t have been prettier! Kristen’s white dress was so stunning and did you see her shoes! She looked So stunning. Jessey cleans up so great himself and I’m […]
Jayden and Hannah are one of my all time favorite couples. They are super laid back, fun and so amazing to be around. They had the most beautiful wedding day at Evansville Country Club. These two shared so many incredible moments and it was so hard to just choose a few images for the blog! […]

One of our favorite perks as wedding photographers, is constantly getting to meet and work with new people. We also get to travel and we adore traveling for weddings. While we have been blessed to work at venues in our area, we really enjoy expanding our photography horizon to new places with new backdrops and […]
Set your budget The first thing you really need to do is set your wedding photography budget. This will allow you to know where you are before inquiring. One of the most common mistakes brides make {from my own experience and what I hear in the wedding world} is that brides inquire without really knowing […]
