Meet Becca!

 

 

I am so thrilled to welcome Becca to our SSP team! I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Becca in 2017 and I’m really looking forward to photographing weddings alongside her in 2018. Becca is so incredibly sweet. She’s thoughtful and has a passion for photography, Jesus and her fiance Ethan! Most of you know we met at a workshop! It’s still so crazy to think we would have never met if we hadn’t attended. We absolutely credit Tracy Burch! lol.  I am so excited to have her and can’t wait for an amazing upcoming year.

Hey guys! I’m Becca! Assistant Photographer for Sharin Shank Photography. I am so grateful for this opportunity and being able to join her team. We met at the Bestow Workshop in Kentucky and hit it off right away. Little did I know that soon, she would be hiring an assistant to join her team! Because our artistic style is very similar, we gravitated towards working together and have had so much fun working together since 2017.

Now that I am officially part of the SSP Team, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself here on the blog. I am a Christian. I am so grateful for God and the amazing life I have. I was blessed to grow up a military kid. Because of that, I have experienced so many things in life and some pretty cool places! Since I moved every three years growing up, I learned that family is everything. My family was so supportive when I decided to go to college to study art. I graduated in 2015 with a bachelors degree in graphic design.

While in college, I met the love of my life, Ethan. After he graduated in 2017, he moved to Kentucky! Soon thereafter, he PROPOSED! He really is the most loving, funny, hard-working man I know, and I can’t wait to marry him April 28 this year!

Since we weren’t busy enough with the wedding plans and our full time jobs (just kidding 😉 we decided to buy a house as well! Now, we are in full remodel mode! Lol I am trying to channel my inner Joanna Gaines and turn our house into the cutest little modern farmhouse ever!

 

 

A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME

 

I LOVE love! I am obsessed with Hallmark rom-coms and chick flicks! On the subject of chick flicks, Steel Magnolia and You’ve got mail are classics. And I totally cried the whole way through The Fault In Our Stars. And not a tear here and there, I like legit ugly cried the ENTIRE time! lol.

 

I love snuggling on the couch and watching Texas Rangers with Ethan

 

I have a huge sweet tooth, which doesn’t really go too well with the whole “eating healthy” thing I’m trying to do. {and lets be honest, diet ice cream just does not compare with the real thing! So the struggle is real ya’ll!

 

I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and believe that my internal clock is set to island time {which maybe explains why I’m so laid back}

 

I love puppies – especially the fluffy ones! One day, Ethan and I want to get either a Husky or or Mini Australian Shepherd.

So that’s a little bit about me and who I am. I love my life and I am so excited to start this journey with Sharin and SSP. My goal is to get to know each and every couple so that we can document not only your story but also the feeling of your special day. I can’t wait to meet and work with all of you!
