Davin + Kate | Owensboro, Ky Film Engagement Session

I adore Davin + Kate. They are seriously the nicest and sweetest. Their style is beautiful. He smiles…she laughs. She smiles and he kisses her! I absolutely love the flirty chemistry between these two.

Davin is from Owensboro so naturally, we decided to have their session there. I will never forget planning out this session! Kate and I stayed up talking back and forth through email until like … well… like 11pm! We were both so excited for their session and literally, you get two girls who LOVE the same things started and we never shut up 🙂 It was so much fun getting to know these two in front of my camera. They are just an amazing couple!

For their session, we decided on Reids Orchard in Owensboro. This venue could go one of two ways…it could be the best backdrop for a country-ish wedding/engagement session or you could find all the gems around the property to make this an amazing backdrop for the more modern bride. We chose to use the long driveway lined with trees, a small field where the sun hits just perfectly and the outside greenhouse type area. PERFECT! So perfect! All of the colors offset Kate and Davin’s super cute fashion style and it really allowed these two to be the focal point. We also had the craziest and cutest idea to have Davin cut fresh florals for Kate as a bouquet! This was not only absolutely adorable…but it was candid and we both loved it so much!

The bouquet was such a perfect ending to their engagement session! Davin…and Kate…omg! I’m SO in love with your images! I LOVE that we got to hang out, chat and really get to know each other during your session. I had an absolute blast! Your images are so amazing and I know that they show off the love between you two and your personalities as a couple. Thank you so much for hanging out with me in Owensboro!
