I adore these two people! Nick and Jill were one of our couples from several years ago. I remember having such an amazing wedding day with these two and Kale! YES! Kale was still my second shooter whenever Nick and Jill had their sweet wedding. I still have the images we took in their outside photo-booth! It’s secretly one of my favorites of Kale! My goodness did we have such a blast!
Fast forward several years later…and these two are a family! With one little boy and another on the way…I was so happy to see them and document this very special season in their life. Jill is sweet and will always be one of my favorite brides. She’s absolutely adorable pregnant and her son! Omg. This guys is precious. He was super interested in my light meter {tons of buttons} and whatever I was hiding in my camera bag. I wasn’t hiding ANYTHING, but try telling that to an almost 3 year old 🙂
We drove out to Bluegrass for their session. It’s one of my favorite places these days. No traffic. No city noises. Just a peaceful + a calm place for families to be together. During this session, I really wanted to capture the joy between these three. Little man did his own thing, mama did her own thing and I even captured dad running off with his little guy so that I could focus on mom a bit. It was sweet. REAL. And exactly the kind of images that will go up on walls throughout their home. I LOVE the scans from this session and I am so grateful that Nick + Jill allowed me to be a part of this thing called Life and Love {and growing a beautiful new baby}!
