Becca and I absolutely adore Chris + Nicole. We have had such an amazing journey with them over this past year! These two invited us out to Falls of Rough for an amazing engagement session on the river and some major family love at their family lake house! There’s nothing better than feeling the love from a couple’s family once you walk in the door.
Chris and Nicole have a romantic love story and you can read it here but just know that he LOVES this girl more than anything in the world. Ok he REALLY loves him mom too! A lot, and his mom showed him that love right back during the big day. But Nicole is his everything. She’s his past, his present and his whole future. He just lets everyone know {no matter who’s looking} that he loves her with all his heart.
Chris and Nicole had an amazing wedding day that featured their closest friends and family. Their ceremony was outdoors at Farmer and Frenchman and only a small guest list. They wanted to celebrate their love in a more private way. Their non-traditional wedding party were all of their best friends who color coordinated in these amazing fall colors that really showed off the palette of the wedding beautifully. They sat in the pews as any guest would but when it came time to do “wedding party” pictures, they all jumped in as one big happy family.
Chris and Nicole’s ceremony was beautiful. They both were so ready for this special moment! Their best dog and best man walked together down the isle to deliver the rings to Chris. This happy ring bearer was so excited…we all knew he would head strait for Chris without delay. And he did just that.
After saying ” I DO” these two newlyweds enjoyed and indoor/outdoor cocktail hour at the Farmer and Frenchman barn. After capturing amazing candids of their fun, Becca and I were invited to indulge in the Hors de’ oeuvres! What?! So good!!!
Then we all headed back to The Vickers House for the fun. On their families property, a large tent was set up for the reception festivities. They enjoyed the speeches from dad, cake cutting and first dances. Then a little later after dinner, everyone else joined Chris, Nicole and their family to “The Party”. How awesome is this?! Everyone had such an amazing time. It was a huge celebration under one tent.

Set your budget The first thing you really need to do is set your wedding photography budget. This will allow you to know where you are before inquiring. One of the most common mistakes brides make {from my own experience and what I hear in the wedding world} is that brides inquire without really knowing […]
