We are looking for two amazing gals to join our team! Position 1 will be a second photographer and position 2 will be a second photographer who also  works with Sharin in the studio. Both positions will have the opportunity to become associate photographers. After we choose who moves forward to a first interview, we will make sure to let you know all the details of what your position with the #sspteam entails.

What we are looking for:

Someone who has a great eye and a passion for wedding/family photography

Someone who can commit to working in the studio 8-10 hours a week {Tuesdays and Thursdays} {position 2 only}

Someone who may have a full or part time job with a flexible schedule for working the above hours and Saturdays

Someone who is familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

A great work ethic is super important to us, as well is someone who loves to learn, can work and problem solve independently, and is very responsible

Someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and contribute to the team

Someone who loves coffee and music

Someone who values communication, feedback and growth

It is a bonus if you already have wedding experience and own camera gear but it is not necessary to apply for this position

How to become a successful wedding photographer

The basics of using social media to grow an individual platform within a small business

How to contribute and interact with a small team

Vendor relationships and networking

What it takes to make weddings, styled/editorial shoots successful

Constant feedback and encouragement

 

 

Important Information:

This position is compatible with a part time or full time job/college

This position requires you to be available some Saturdays throughout the year, some evenings for sessions {training}, our big team events, photo-shoots and monthly team meetings.

You do not need to own your own gear but if you do that’s a huge bonus

Our interview process is not quick, it’s thorough so get ready!

We are not in a rush to hire, and we won’t if we don’t find someone who is a good fit for our team

We will be training you to have the SSP look while drawing out your own personal style as a photographer

 

If you love taking photos but don’t love the business side of photography, you could be a perfect fit! This position is for someone who wants to be part of a team. This position is also for someone who doesn’t have plans to “open” their own business or at least not anytime soon. We value the team we have and love being able to work, build, grow and thrive as a photography team.

This position is not for someone who already owns and operates a photography business.
