Jesse + Emily | Clearwater, Fl Film Wedding

Jesse and Emily are such an amazing couple. I was so excited when they reached out to us to photograph their wedding!! I have never photographed a destination wedding before so this was seriously an amazing opportunity. I also happen to be Emily’s cousin!! So when Jesse and Emily asked me to photograph one of the most special days of their life…I was floored and excited! Of all the photographers near and far…they chose me! This was such an incredible honor!

These two had the most amazing day. It was warm, sunny and gosh you guys, the entire day was full of so much love. They had a beautiful ceremony + reception at Kapok in Clearwater Florida. This place was so beautiful and the light was so amazing!! Jesse sent Emily a gift and short letter. Then these two had a first look. Jesse melted into a puddle of emotion as he was looking at his bride. She’s so incredibly beautiful but to see someone you absolutely love ready to walk down the isle to marry you is a completely different feeling. We took a handful of images and then let these two have their space. It was well worth it too because when we came back to get started with bride and groom portraits, Emily was teary eyed and wiping tears off Jesse’s face. As a photographer, their are always moments we want to capture. Then there are moments that are truly theirs. Moments they will cherish and remember for a lifetime.

After these two said “I Do” they had an amazing reception! They had the honor of dancing with their parents which was so incredibly special. Their friends and family watched as these two held onto the people who have loved them since birth. What an incredible moment not only for Jesse and Emily, but for their parents. THE night they gave their kiddos away to each other. The party at the end of the reception was also incredible. These two had the time of their lives and then the next day flew out to Jamaica for a sweet honeymoon!
