Scott and Madeline are so genuine and sweet. I loved these two the minute we met up to talk about their wedding day. We went over everything from invitations, colors, their love story and so much more. I think my favorite part of their love story {besides the proposal} is how Madeline wrote a 100 letters for her future husband! The day they got married, Madeline gave Scott all the letters. It was one of the sweetest things I’ve honestly ever heard.
After a super sweet first look {not just any first look though! These two asked for a bit of privacy and I thought that was SO perfect} so from a distance, I captured their first look and hug as almost husband and wife. Then Madeline shared the letters with Scott and Scott wrote Madeline a sweet “before the ceremony” letter too. I am such an emotional person! I tear up when these things happen and it’s just my nature.
These two got had a beautiful ceremony at the newly remodeled St. James Catholic Church. When I saw it for the first time, I was floored. It was the perfect place for these two to say I DO. Scott and Madeline chose to have a Catholic wedding and I love that. They shared hugs, laughs, vows, ring and took communion. When they kissed, I think the whole church wanted to scream!! but they didn’t…because they were in church. That’s how happy everyone was to witness such an incredible day.
Their reception was held at Madden Hall and decorated so perfectly by OBJ designs. We all enjoyed some really amazing food and we photographed everyone dancing the night away. It was literally perfect. You two! We are so happy for you. I can’t believe how fast the year flew by! I seriously enjoyed getting to know you both. Between the inquiry, lunch date at Comfort, timeline planning at my studio and all the in between, you are THE BEST! I’m lucky to know you both and so honored to be the one to document one of the most amazing days ever!
