Logan and Brittany are the sweetest. These two special people are high school sweethearts and have been together for over 10 years! The time finally came for Logan to ask Brittany to marry him. He planned a surprise proposal at dinner and was planning on getting down on one knee to ask Brittany to be his wife. They were at Logan’s parents house and it was time to leave and go to dinner. They made the walk out of Logan’s parents house to the car to be on their way to a nice dinner date and Logan got so nervous he asked Brittany right then and there. “Will you marry me?!” She said yes and the rest is history.
These two lovelies did not escape the pandemic when it came to their wedding day. They planned a gorgeous destination wedding in Mexico. Things got hard while planning during such a crazy time and Brittany threw in the towel. Eventually, they decided to plan a local wedding at home in Kentucky. As much as I wish they would have been able to carry through with their destination wedding day plans, I’m so grateful to be the one they chose for their wedding here! I wouldn’t have met such an amazing power couple. Brittany is sweet, smart, has an eye for detail, is definitely a planner at heart and her style in impeccable. Logan is kind and fun! He wants Brittany to be happy and he loved everything she planned for them. I love that about these two.
For their engagement session, we met at the Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens. It was so gorgeous on the day we had their engagement session. We even popped some bubbly and I will never get over {I mean never} how much these two shined during their engagement session. They are just SO HAPPY and in love. It’s all over their faces all the time. Brittany is, well, gorgeous and Logan has the biggest friendliest smile. They are so fun to be around and I loved getting to know them through this session. You can see all the pretty and fun here.
Their big day finally came. What a gorgeous day too! From getting ready and popping champagne at their hotel to more getting ready and lots of tears at White Chateau, this day was a very memorable one for everyone. Brittany had a first look bridesmaids and what a moment. She even did a first look with her dad. I literally cried editing these sweet images. Logan and his groomsmen had a bit of fun themselves during the pre-ceremony fun. Some bourbon that was specially labeled with Logan and Brittany was passed around as a fun tribute to their special day.
The ceremony was absolutely dreamy. They held their vows outdoors of the White Chateau. The lawn was decorated in white chairs and two large gorgeous vases with florals just the way Brittany envisioned. The ceremony floral arch was absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for these two to say I DO! When they kissed for the first time as husband and wife, these two made their way back down the isle while their guests threw white floral petals in the air. It was DREAMY!
Logan and Brittany are married! And the rest is history. Ellie and I are so honored to be a part of this special day. We hope you love a little walk down memory lane! Congrats you two. You deserve the very best and we couldn’t be happier for you both.
